It's nine in the morning
Let me confess something
I think I'm in love with my best friend
And I don't know how long can I pretend
He calls me every night
Just to talk about her
At the back of my mind,
"Okay, fine. Whatever."
He watches movies with me
Holds my hand when we cross the street
Embraces me when I feel sleepy
Yeah, at times we are that sweet!
One night, he invited me for dinner
I asked if we will be with her
It took time for him to say, "No."
Something's wrong, I guessed so.
We ate, drank, and talked
Went to the garden and walked
He kissed me and so I cried
When I opened my eyes, he smiled.
He then hugged me
I felt like he never wanted to let me go
I was so happy
He was, too, I know.
I didn't ask about what he truly feels inside
I think he's old enough to decide
And whatever happened to them, I guess
It's so out of my "newly established" business
If he wants to leave or decides to stay
I can bear with it, come what may
Even destiny knows that I'm his best friend
If it's in favor of us, I'll have him in the end.
