Unflavored

I bought you an ice cream
But it melted along the way before I reached you
Stupid as it may seem
I can’t think of a more romantic thing to do

You crossed the street and hugged me
A hug-me-too embrace, but I didn’t
I tried so hard to make it gently
Too much efforts done, still I couldn’t

I smiled when you looked at me
A smile that resembles a cry
I don’t know what’s with this verbosity
When all I really mean is goodbye

An ice cream, a cone
And me in front of you
I know you can make it on your own
What I don’t is if I will miss you, too

Maybe I can stay, but I just want to go
Far beyond your reach, somewhere you can’t follow
And no matter what I do, I’ll just make you cry
So I guess this is it, my one-big-time goodbye

This isn't how I want it to end, believe me.
